Very First Mid-Sem break in Australia

7:16 AM

Some memories are meant to be cherished and held on to forever. Thank you, friends, for such memories ♡ :') Photo credits to the camera pros in the group, Alvin and Ahmala, iPhone 8-wielding Yuyan and everyone else!!!! HAAH ♡

DAY 1: SPRINGBROOKS NATIONAL PARK
The photos shall do the talking instead

Walked behind a waterfall for the first time in my life. It was wet and gorgeous. I felt like I was out of a movie.

The start of us making use of the additional insurance we had to pay for being under 21.

Everyone took turns to stand on these various rocks because the view was so pretty! Keeping in mind we had to return our car before sundownHAHAH. This is Charmaine ♡
 This is Tershenne ♡

DAY 3: SUNSHINE COAST
This is Mengnan ♡ Decided to go to a market near Noosa heads, the beach! Which only opened until a certain time on Sunday!
Had my first ever Acai bowl at this truck station! The food selection here is pretty good and we managed to grab lunch :))) Only thing is that there are limited seats! I highly recommend getting a watermelon to refresh :)
Selfie cause... I'm wearing earrings LOL!
 NOOSA MAIN BEACH

Laid on the mat, read less than a chapter of an ebook, talked to my friends all afternoon. And went swimming in the waves. I LOVE IT! The waves were so strong and salty! So cool compared to the hot sand and sand. It was a mindblowing experience I'm so grateful for. ♡
 Catching golden hour.

DAY 4: Still at Sunshine Coast

We stayed at Noosa Heads YHA, which was clean and really decent for the price we paid :) It was a really good option for us because we were mostly out of the house and hardly was inside. Good location, friendly staff.
Went to talk a walk at Noosa Heads National Park. We managed to get a side view of the surfers from there.

We started to take the drive back and here we are at Mooloolaba Beach. Same coast, yet a different amazing sight ♡

 Sorry guys... I was lazy

The sky was my favourite colour: Periwinkle. Unbelievable to see such pastel skies. So blessed...

DAY 5: BRISBANE AIRPORT DFO
Had some really good buys yay :))) Which I am using quite a bit now :)
 Jamie's potato salad:
1kg potato, boiled and peeled (not overboiled)
Bacon, fried
Spring onion
Black Pepper
Mayo (put less if you want to keep for longer)

It's really good. I'm so gonna do it again if I can :)

DAY 6: PICNIC
Thank you, Brisbane (Kangaroo Cliff) Town Council for such clean, convenient and user-friendly BBQ pits! Bought a $100 worth of BBQ food and just sizzled them there.
 Beautiful view of the lake
FRIENDS! Thankful for all of YOU!
 Don't forget to take some s'more ;)
Double patty cheeseburger Yuyan requested :))

So happy that we travelled with such good photographers! The sights were amazing and our phones couldn't capture a single thing.

That is me! HAHAHA. On my left it's Jupiter.
On Charmaine's right, it is Orion's belt. We used a stargazing app to look at the constellations and it was so cool how they all made a fixed pattern that could be identified:)
Beautiful lyrics can be inspired by these stars. God is so cool.

My life will be sadder without the presence of these friends God has blessed me with ♡

AW... Cold, cosy night! We brought our wine and we sat in a circle and played games and had to drink if we got it wrong... hahaha. It's good we are all Christian (except YY) so we didn't go overboard! Or that we are generally good kids :)) We sang Chinese songs together too.. It was a nice fuzzy feeling. ♡
Rise and shine, good morning! :))))))) Tired faces. I hardly slept, and it was so cold that I felt I had to continuously huddle into a ball. Glad we were all there together !!! HHEH

The past few days in a collage. I have the coolest friends. :) ♡ First time I saw in real life how to change a tyre and helped a little! Hehe cause Yuyan accidentally bumped a curb really close to home (thank God). Phew, thankful for that earlier mentioned insurance too.

Overall, the weather, itinerary, company was fantastic. I love Brisbane! Yet I know, I have to cherish and be grateful for every second and blessing God gives me :) Thankful for the time to get to know other people that I don't interact with that much too:) Though everyone was pretty tired, they all helped out! And really thankful for the drivers who got us safely from place to place:) I really admire Jamie's driving and I hope I can drive well one day too :) okay, good night:)
